The DR180-DD5-C is a waterproof DC/DC converter that converts a DC voltage from 24V to 5V DC voltage. It can continuously supply a direct current up to 30A.
Converter from 24 to 5 Volt
The 150W converter has a wide input range from 11V to 30V DC. The converter is protected against overloading, overvoltage and overheating. If one of these situations occurs, the converter will shut down. As soon as the situation returns to normal, the converter switches back on.
This 5V converter has no galvanic separation between the input and output. This makes it compact in size despite its power of 150W.
Applications
Converters are used in situations where a DC voltage of a certain value needs to be brought to a higher or lower value. It can also be used to turn an unstable voltage into a fixed stable voltage. Because the inverter is waterproof (IP68), it is very suitable for use with scooters or golf carts, for example.
